Rates

Our rates depend on the size of the group, the number of shows and display tables you want, and the duration of your event.

Rates for Small Groups

These rates apply for events with up to 30 participants, such as school groups, scouting groups, small birthday parties, and small public or private events. Only shows are available at the small group rates.

If your event has more than 30 participants or if you want displays, see our rates for large groups.

These rates apply to malls, trade shows and exhibitions, resorts, parks and conservation areas, and large public or private events with more than 30 participants.

Notes

  1. Travel costs are extra — $30 per hour, round trip, from Orillia. Longer distances may require that accommodations be provided.
  2. Tables and/or staging and sound systems are to be supplied by the facility. Otherwise, they can be supplied for an additional fee.
  3. Custom programs and displays are available; we will fit your needs!
  4. Please contact us to discuss program and pricing options. Limited financial assistance may be available to qualifying groups.
  5. We offer multiple-day discounts.

Definitions

Displays
Secure cages and tanks will display a variety of reptiles. Native and exotic species of snakes, as well as various species of lizards and/or turtles will be used. The display also includes educational interpretation. A minimum of one staff person will always be present to answer the public’s questions and maintain the display. More about our displays.
Shows
Approximately one hour in length, the shows are performed in two parts. The first half is an educational presentation about snakes and other reptiles. The second half is hands-on for the participants. Snakes are given to willing audience participants to touch, hold or even wear. Large groups may require additional resources. More about our shows.
